Why it happens

Why Kick links show no preview in Discord

Discord builds a link preview from data the site sends back. Kick does not send Discord what it needs, so a shared kick.com link turns into bare text with no title, no thumbnail and no sign that the stream is live. Most people scroll straight past it.

clkick.com fills that gap. Swap the domain and Discord gets a proper preview for the same stream, clip, VOD or channel, and clicking it still takes people to Kick. It now works for live streams too, so a going live link actually looks live in your server.
